About

Offline Arcade started as a group chat where a few of us kept swapping recommendations for games that work without a data plan. Airports, subways, mountain cabins — that's where our phones let us down, so we began collecting the titles that never ask for a connection.

Everything you read here comes from real play sessions. We install a game, put it in airplane mode, and see whether it still runs the way it promised. If a menu freezes or a level refuses to load offline, we say so.

We don't chase every new release. Instead we pick games across genres — role-playing, strategy, racing, puzzles, simulation — and give each one enough hours to form a fair opinion. A quick five-minute glance rarely tells you if something is good.

The site is small and independent. Nobody pays us to like a game, and we keep it that way on purpose so our ratings mean something.
