Puzzle games that respect your time

The best puzzle games understand you might only have three minutes. Tilebound is a good example — you can solve one level and put the phone away without losing anything.

What I avoid now are the ones that gate progress behind timers or a limited number of tries per hour. It's a way to pad playtime, and it turns a relaxing game into a chore.

A clean puzzler gives you a level, lets you think, and moves on. No pop-ups, no waiting. When a game trusts you like that, you end up playing more, not less.

If you're building an offline puzzle collection, prioritize games with no online scoreboard requirement. Local scoring keeps everything working when you're off the grid.
